Definition:	In calligraphy, a nib width is the width of a tool’s edge. There are various sizes of nib widths. For example, a letter may be written at 8 nib widths high or at 4 nib widths high. A letter written with at 8 nib widths high will be twice as light as one written at 4 nib widths high.
