Definition: “K” may refer to kilowatts or refer to an abbreviation for Kelvin (like 5,400K for daylight). In relation to kilowatts, K is used when referring to quartz lights or HMIs (to check the amount of  the brightness in relation to the consumption of power).  1 Kilowatt is made up of 1,000 Watts.
