Definition:	A copy of one’s sound mix that is either on DAT or mag stock. One may need to ask for it in addition to the optical track. Obtaining a copy of the mix on tape will give a superior quality level for transfer to video (as opposed to the optical track). It will also provide a more efficient means of mixing if one needs to do some remixing.
