Term: Editorial Sync
Subcategory: General
Definition: A series of sync marks on sound and picture that pair up on the same frame.  It can be helpful to use the mark E.S. when labeling in order to let others or oneself known it is an editorial sync mark.  It should not be confused with a printer’s sync – which involves sound and picture that are displaced.
