Definition: A lithograph is a term that relates to general offset printing.  Most print publishers today use this process of printing.  It involves photographing the original artwork and then burning the image into 4 plates for a full color printing process.  A roller on a printing press contains the ink.  Acid free paper and a fine dot screen are used for the best lithographs.
